St. Peter’s Playgroup Dinas Powys is an established registered day care setting for children aged 2 - 5 yrs old in the village of Dinas Powys.
St Peter's Playgroup has been running for over 30 years... 27 of those years with Auntie Mal and the last 6 with Carly Murray and Rachel Bennett.
We are very proud to have achieved an excellent rating on our most recent inspection report.

At St. Peter’s Playgroup Dinas Powys we provide a caring and safe environment for your children. The children that we care for are at the heart of what we do and plan for everyday,
We create a fun, nurturing, stimulating and welcoming learning environment for all children.
St Peters Playgroup is run by Carly Murray and Rachel Bennett, both qualified nursery nurses with together over 35 years of experience and knowledge working in a Early Years.
We have 2 early years trained playgroup assistants who are both passionate about creating a calm environment where children are valued and cared for.
Foundation phase daily plans
Encouraging little explorers
Each days activities are planned to engage the children’s in all areas of the foundation phase, allowing free movement indoors and to our outdoor area. Whether they want to get crafty, dress up, play on the bikes or get stuck into the sand. It’s all there to explore! Feel free to give us a call with any questions!

We offer wraparound care to St Andrews Major nursery and Dinas Powys Nursery school
Cost
-Morning & afternoon 3 hour sessions £17.40
-Morning & afternoon + wraparound £23.20
-9-3pm sessions £34.80​​

We are a term time only setting.
​
You can use your free childcare hours with us, we are also proud to be a flying start setting, children who are eligible for funding can use it here with us.
